Sara started her 35-year career in the property sector when joining CBRE in 1988, before which she worked as a business economist in London. From CBRE Sara moved to work for a small consultancy, Barber White, for 7 years from 1993 to 2000. In 2000 she co-founded Propex, a property investment exchange platform. These day’s we’d call in PropTech. Sara was fully involved in expanding the Propex user base from the founding 12 institutions to a well-established investment registration system used by over 60 major funds and 200 agency firms. The investment introduction platform ‘Propex’ (Property Exchange) was bought out by CoStar in 2007.

Sara remained at CoStar working, over time moving into various roles, from the technical such as getting upgrades to the PropTech platform done to training provision, business development, client management of key UK investment clients such as abrdn, Aviva Investors, Legal & General IM, M&G. Having worked with institutional clients for 35 years Sara understands what clients need: what are the pain points, and what are the solutions available.
